Using the french styled farm kitchen on Moya’s Vineyard wine farm as inspiration, “Koeked” is a Site-specific production that explores the life stories of four local women who have come to work in the very quirky, and at times absurd bakery known as “Koeked”.
Referring to themselves as the Koeksisters, this physical theatre production centres itself around the syrup dripped, twisted and knotted lives of these four polite gossiping spinsters. Nestled in the neck of the Hemel-en– Aarde valley, Moya’s Vinyard wine farm is the home for this eccentric production . With numerous dance numbers, and just a sprinkle of drama- Koeked is a theatre production for the whole family to taste.
Performances are just 45 minutes long, and tickets include a glass of Moya’s Vineyard Pinot Noir or Sauvignon Blanc as well as locally produced bread, olives and olive oil. Limited room for each performance, so be sure to book your ticket by either emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning 0849512705.
